Indigenous Carbon Australia (ICA) is a 100 per cent Indigenous-owned and operated not-for-profit carbon business.
We offer Indigenous landowners a range of carbon reduction strategies that use traditional knowledge wherever possible to produce Australian Carbon Credit Units (ACCUs) with environmental and social co-benefits, simultaneously creating revenue and employment.

We help to set up carbon farming projects on First Nations owned land.
We help Indigenous landowners set up carbon farming projects on their land so they can generate an income and create jobs for their communities. Once each project has concluded, we work with the Clean Energy Regulator to sign off the project and finalise the issue of Australian Carbon Credit Units.

We trade Indigenous-produced carbon credits with
co-benefits. Indigenous-produced Australian Carbon Credit Units with environmental and social co-benefits are always in demand.
We have a long list of Australian companies looking to purchase these carbon credits at a premium price, so they can offset their carbon emissions. |
We would like to say a big thank you to the Byron Bay Lighthouse Run for their generous donation to Indigenous Carbon Australia. To find out more, or to get involved in next year's run, please visit byronbaylighthouserun.com.au. |
"Indigenous Carbon Australia work with First Nations people to set up new carbon farming projects that help address growing economic inequality, create income for future generations and tackle the climate crisis."
